Selection screen text name

Hello Guru,

I want to get text name for parameters or seletion-options in my report.

For example I have create P_JOBNAME as parameter and gave text as "Jobname".

I am getting all parameters and select-options used in the report. Now I want you guys to help me in getting text that is associated with parameter.

Your help will be highly appreciated.

Hi,

In the Report, Goto --> Text Elements --> Selection text, there you will find the parameters, then you can give the name then that name will be appear in the Selection screen

Select menu item

GOTO->Text Elements. In that select Selection Texts and give ur text, then save and activate it.

Use function module FC_SEL_SCREEN_SELTEXTS_READ to read and get text for all selection screen elements.

Hi Nagendra

When u navigate to

Goto --> Text Elements --> Selection text

Here in case you are using a standard field, just click the from dictionary tab, and you will get the std text from the field label of the data elemnt.

Hi,

All the selection screen parameters defined in the selection screen text can be defined go to GOTO->Text Elemets ->Selection Texts. All the selection screen parameters and select options technical names will be displayed and give the names accordingly.

What I have is to know SAP Table or function module which can give me select-options or parameters - texts .

I am working in 4.5B version of SAP R/3.
