hi to all abap gurus

my querry is as follows i heard that vbuk and vbup tables for sales hader status nad ssales item status .

can pls explain what is sales header status nad sales item status

and one more question is what is the table vbpa ie sales partner details .

pls tell me what is sales partner .

points will be rewqarded for good answers .

Hi,

the user status is controled by system status , the system status indipendent of user status.

System status: Status that is a status set by the system, which informs the user that the system has executed a specific business transaction on an object. You can only influence this status if you execute a business transaction that changes the system status.

User status: Status that you set, that you can create as additional information to the existing system status. You define a user status in a Status Profile that is created in Customizing for business transactions. You can define and activate as many user statuses as you wish. A status profile can then be assigned to the following in Customizing for business transactions:

¡ To a transaction type (for header status)

¡ To item categories (for item status)

A status profile can be assigned to several transaction types and item categories.

System status and user status influence the business transactions in the same way.

in user status controlled by status profile , The header status is independent of the item status. One exception is the status Completed. If all items have the status Completed, the header status is also set to Completed

let me say yu orderd with 3 items in crm if all aitems completely distributed to r/3 with out errors then automatically header status also will complete.

in status profile contols

Define the sequence in which user statuses can be activated

Define initial statuses

Allow or prohibit certain business transactions

vbuk tables for sales hader status which will disply all header lavel enrires and vbup sales item status will disply item lavel details.

vbpa ie sales partner details will provide the who is partner and its details

Overall picking / putaway status

Overall status of warehouse management activities

Total incompletion status of all items in general

Total incompletion status of all items: Delivery

Total incompletion status of all items: Billing

Overall billing block status

Overall delivery block status

Overall blocked status

POD status on header level

Status Funds Management

Manual Completion of Contract

Sales Partner :

This is the table where both the sales partners

(sold-to party, ship-to party, bill-to party, payer)

as well as individuals such as technical salespersons,

representatives and contact persons are stored.

The partner function specifies which partner is involved

(see table TPAR or TPART).

Item 0 contains the standard, the rest of the items only contain

deviating data records.

Hi,

VBUK Table

means - Header Status and Administrative data for SALES DOCUMENT.

VBUP Table

means - Item Status for Sales Document.

<b>In a Sales Document the main details about the SALE ie Sale Delevery status , Total Goods movement status etc are stored in VBUK. This mainly contains the status details.

VBUP contains the status details of particular items. For every Item there is STATUS details.</b>

VBPA

This is the table contains the details of the sales partners

and individuals such as technical salespersons,

contact persons are stored etc.
