SUBMIT....... EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY AND RETURN

Dear All,

We have one report which calls RFGLBALANCE report by using sattement SUBMIT RFGLBALANCE WITH .......EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY AND RETURN.I am passing all the selection screen fileds required to execute RFGLBALANCE program. Recently we have applied support Pack 10 after that my Z-report is throwing dump.This report Z-report is of very importance which gets the result from RFGLBALANCE report. Scince it is giving dump we are not in postion to execute the report . is there any other way to execute my z report and show the results.

It is not clear as to what error it is showing in the dump..

can you be specific of whats shown in the dump?

Hi Raghuvendra,

I faced the same problem sometime back with a Z report from the FI module which was very critical to the client and I had to work for 3 continuous days to get it right as it was month end activity.

Actually,what you can do is that try and run some SAP standard report that has the "Submit" keyword in it and see if it is running correctly.

If the above scenario is OK,then my dear friend,it is very sorry to say that you will have to develop a new report altogether from scratch by using some other logic this time.

Even I could not find out the reason for the same after working on it for so many days.I was tired of debuggng it again and again.

Can you check if the program you are trying to execute has an ALV grid or a class based ALV (with custom control on screen) report.

If yes, This may be the problem. I do not think you can export such reports (which need a screen) to memory.

Any comments anyone ?
