Dear all,

i want to know the difference between goods receipt note(grn) and service receipt note(srn)

hi,

I u have recieved some quantity of goods from a vendor, then u will get a goods receipt note. U need to have that as a reference for creating the goods receipt.

Whereas if u have recieved services like for eg, u have appointed an eletrician for repairing an elecrical connection. Here u will not get goods delivery not. Else u will get the Service receipt note for the performance of services.

Pls reward points if helpful.
