CO_IH_CLOSE_ORDER_TECHNICAL

Hi everyone.

I'm using the CO_IH_CLOSE_ORDER_TECHNICAL MF in order to do the technical close of a PM order (PM12 type) and it's not working ok. It does the technical close, but when I go to the trx. IW32 y still can see the order editable. If at this point I try to do the technical close from the transaction, I get a message saying that the order is already close, but the option is still available.

In my program I call the MF with these parameters:

CALL FUNCTION 'CO_IH_CLOSE_ORDER_TECHNICAL'

EXPORTING

order_number = wa_caufv2-aufnr // order number

addat = v_addat // sy-datum

aduhr = v_aduhr // sy-uzeit

flg_confirmation = 'X'

do_not_close_notification = ''

TABLES

return = t_return.

There are no messages in t_return after executing it.

After that I do a commit work to apply the changes trough BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT. If I don't call this MF, the changes are never applied.

If someone knows how to make it work please let me know.

Hi,

No, do not use this "internal" SAP FM, 'CO_IH_CLOSE_ORDER_TECHNICAL'! Please use "Technical complete" and use BAPI FM BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN as described in the following thread:

Note the code for "Technical complete" and not the other issue with "cycle group". This should do the trick.
