This is one of our recent projects.  We made a support role with access to global layouts "S_ALV_LAYO" and the remaining roles have access only to F_IT_ALV.  The security trace will display errors requiring S_ALV_LAYO but the tcode will still work with F_IT_ALV.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Good Luck!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
