    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;lt;b&amp;gt;Conversion&amp;lt;/b&amp;gt; :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Migration of data from Legacy to SAP system using BAPI or  BDC,   similar to what is written in the above post.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &amp;lt;b&amp;gt;Modifications&amp;lt;/b&amp;gt;:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;These are changes to SAP Repository objects made at the customer site. If SAP delivers a changed version of the object, the customer's system must be adjusted to reflect these changes. It may be :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; -&amp;gt; Non-registered Modification or&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; -&amp;gt; Assisted Modification.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;User Exits may be used for this purpose.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Other similar but different terms are :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;lt;b&amp;gt;Enhancements&amp;lt;/b&amp;gt; :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This means creating Repository objects for individual customers that refer to objects that already exist in the SAP Repository.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;        Advantages :  It is Compatible with future releases.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;                             It Does not affect the sap code.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;lt;b&amp;gt;Customer Developments&amp;lt;/b&amp;gt;:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This means creating Repository objects unique to individual customers in a specific namespace reserved for new customer objects.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
