    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Tom,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Index is selected based on the where clause of the select query.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;SELECT * FROM MARA&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;          where MATNR = '0000242342'.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here Database would select from MARA based on MATNR.
