The only auth objects it is looking at is the B_LSMW_PRO(For Project) and B_LSMW(Transaction, Activity). I would like to secure it from the configurator side and also the end user who tries to use this tool.

Thanks

Koti

EDS

Hi,

Besides adding the LSMW transaction to S_TCODE, your security administrator needs to add authorization object B_LSMW with authorizations in ACTVT for 02, 03, and 16, and TCD values of Z* assuming your LSMW project starts with a Z*. Otherwise, TCD can be set to a more specific value if needed.

These ACTVT values allow you to Change, Display, and Execute you LSMW project.

Using this tool user can define the object attributes, Source Structures, Source fiedls etc and also the user can specify the files, assign the files... as mentioned in the list below.

In case the security admin needs to restrict the process steps mentioned below between two user community

First set users to have access for Maintaining steps and

Second set of users to have access for specify the files etc

what are the authorization objects needed. Su24 shows only B_LSMW, B_LSMW_PRO objects that are related to LSMW t-code. Any thoughts on this will be helpfull

<u><b>Process Steps in LSMW t-code after the user select the project in the 1st screen</b></u>

Maintain Object Attributes

Maintain Source Structures

Maintain Source Fields

Maintain Structure Relations

Maintain Field Mapping and Conversion Rules

Maintain Fixed Values, Translations, User-Defined Rou

Specify Files

Assign Files

Read Data

Display Read Data

Convert Data

Display Converted Data

Create Batch Input Session

Run Batch Input Session
