Field-symbol assignment

Hi,

In pricing formula routine I am modifying XKOMV table but once it comes out of pricing routine, old values are getting assigned to XKOMV.

PERFORM (frm_kondi_wert) IN PROGRAM saplv61a IF FOUND.

"Call to Pricing routine

xkomv = rettkomv.

"Old value re-assigned

So inside my pricing routine I am trying to modify rettkomv which in program SAPLV61A->LV61AA55 using field-symbol but field-symbol is not getting assigned.

DATA: wa_rettkomv(18) TYPE c VALUE '(SAPLV61A)RETTKOMV'.

FIELD-SYMBOLS: <fs_rettkomv> LIKE xkomv.

ASSIGN (wa_rettkomv) TO <fs_rettkomv>.

Could you please tell me where I am going wrong.

Put a break-point then in debug see if (SAPLV61A)RETTKOMV can be seen. If not then it is not on the stack list.

In the routine definition, use the keyword "CHANGING" instead of using "USING".

HI,

Declare FIELD-SYMBOLS: <fs_rettkomv> type any.

And remove the brakets ,...

ASSIGN wa_rettkomv TO <fs_rettkomv>.

try this it may work.

I solved the issues by assigning "new_pricing = c_a" in FORM userexit_new_pricing_vbkd CHANGING new_pricing of MV45AFZB include.
