Please open another session and go to transaction SM12. Now in the other session go to SE38 and open the program in change mode, flip over to your other session and note what locks are being set by you. At this point there should be one for TRDIR. Now go to your selection texts screen and stop there, flip back over and check the locks again. You should have one SO10T and the other one should have dropped off. Is this what you are seeing, or are you still seeing the other lock as well?

Regards,

RIch Heilman

Hello All:

We upgraded from 4.6C to ECC6.0. I have a program that I transported from DEV to QAS. Everything was fine except the "selection texts" did not get transported. I thought OK, I will just make some change in selection TEXT in DEV but whenever I try to do this and activate, it gives me an error "User XXXXXX is currently editing the program ZXXXXXXX". It's me who is currently editing and just trying to activate it! Any ideas how to resolve this issue?

Thanks.

MIthun

Thanks Rich. It did not work! I logged off completely, logged back on and just tried to activate and first I got "Error during activation" and then when I continued, I got the same error "User XXXXXX(that's me only) is currently editing ZXXXXXX"!

Thanks.

Mithun

This is all I get:

Error during activation

Message no. EU837

When I hit continue, I get the error

"User XXXXXX is currently editing ZXXXXX"!!! This is really weird! ALl I am doing is going to "GOTO<DEL>>Text Elements</DEL>>Selection texts" form the menu and trying to activate the program!!

Thanks.

Mithun

Thanks Rich. I tried everything you told me to do and I see only one lock for "selection texts"!! I went to the transport I created and it does show the text elements in my transport but I cannot activate!! I am thinking about moving this transport to QAS and see if the changes to "selection texts" will make it to QAS!! Don't know what else to try!

Thanks.

Mithun
