Text Editor in screen

Hi All,

How is it possible to create a text editor in a screen, which could display text as desired and also read the text entered on the screen.

Please suggest.

Hi Archana,

For using text editor, we have to use container control object.

We can place a Text editor inside the container object.

You can see example of this in ABAP EXAPMLES.

Open SE38 > Environment > Examples > Controls Example.

You will see many example of container control object.

I found the solution.

There is a functione module to create the same RH_EDITOR_SET. You just need to create a container in the screen and call thi FM in the PBO.

There are more function modules for the RH_EDITOR to further modify this editor.
