Hello all,

when i try to change header start date using BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN i am not able to change the start date (strat date is only for example )

i am getting this message in Return :

T ID NUM MESSAGE

E IWO_BAPI2 105 Length of internal key is incorrect (actual:69 target:12)

i have passed these values to the function module :

IT_METHODS :

REFNUM OBJECTTYPE METHOD OBJECTKEY

000001 HEADER CHANGE %00000810143

000001 SAVE %00000810143

IT_HEADER:

ORDERID %00000810143

START_DATE 12.12.2006

IT_HEADER_UP:

ORDERID %00000810143

START_DATE X

and the start date is not changing .

So please let me know what is the mistake.

Hi!

In the orderid there is no need for the % sign, only 000000810143.

If it begins with %00000000001 it is only a temporary number for CREATE method.

Check out the date format also, you might try out YYYYMMDD too, if it is not working this way...

And don't forget to CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT'.

Hello ,

I want to execute the standard function module and want to change .

I don't want to use a program for this .

i.e i want to execute BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN in SE37 and i want to chage any one of the field in header .

So can i know the step by step procedure to execute the function modlue directly to change any one field.

Hi!

I don't think it would work, because you have to run the bapi_transaction_commit within the same session, to commit the changes.

Write a small Z* program for this.
