hi,

what is the difference between generate partner profile and create partner profile.

Partner profile:Logical System name is used to indicate the application system to which you are going to send the data.

Partner profiles use the above Logical System name to determine the system to which the data is to be sent i.e., you have to tell whether inbound or outbound.

WE20 - T-code to create partner profile LS and add idoc to outbound

Now after you create a Partner Profile, you should make it to be used somewhere.

In order to make it useful, you will generate the created Partner Profile.

Partner profiles use the above Logical System name to determine the system to which the data is to be sent ie you have to tell wether inbound or outbound.

Suppose If you are doing IDOC to File scenario ,have to mention the Outbound Parameter in we20 ie IDOC message type name

Follow these steps.....

Now you can push your IDOCs from SAP system using WE19 IDOC test tool.
