I developed a samrtrorm, i want to debug it . can any one plzz tell me how to debug smartforms.

Hi,

SMARTFORMS DEBUGGING

For smartforms debugging you can do this.

1. Execute the smartform (execute button in SMARTFORMS transaction)

2. Take the generated function module and display it in SE80.

3.Find the smartforms Elements (text elements, windows, code lines, loops) in this and set Soft break points.

Correct name is SMARTFORM_TRACE. You have lots of options for adequate analysis

the statement where you need break to check your logic flow there you write BREAK-POINT.

To debugg a smartform v have to follow this steps.

Execute the smartform (execute button in SMARTFORMS transaction)

Answer to your question on SMARTFORM_TRACE

Using the Smart Form trace, you can trace how a Smart Form was processed during printing. You can then see, for example, the sequence in which the nodes were run or the point at which processing terminated due to an error.

The trace output is user-specific. The trace is therefore only recorded with the user who activated it. For traces to be recorded for batch input, the batch therefore has to be run under the user who activated the trace.
