Reg FM - BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA

Hi Friends,

I am using FM BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA to update material data.. It's working in Dev. but, in Production, I am getting "No authorization for this transaction" message .

CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA'

EXPORTING

HEADDATA = w_head

PLANTDATA = w_basic

PLANTDATAX = w_basicx

IMPORTING

RETURN = w_ret

TABLES

RETURNMESSAGES = lt_msg.

w_ret internal table contains the message ,

<b>No authorization for this transaction"</b>

Some days before, it was working in production also. Today it's giving this message. Kindly let me know your comments/suggestions.

Bharat,

Go to the production system and try creating material using MM01 transaction, it should give you the same error. Someone might have removed your authorization to create material. Also try running program with someones user id who can create material thru MM01

Hi Aniruddha,

I don't have authorization for MM01 in production. am getting similar message for MM01. So, it seems authorization issue is it?
