how to solve

Hi experts

I used the following code in my program, but it leads to dump error says that time exeeds, how to change this query and what could be the reason for this.

Hi Rajaram ,

Few observations

1. Do not use <b>into correspondin</b>g , change the sequence of the fields in the internal table and use into table .

2. I think ZDATE is a range/select-option so use IN operation instead of Between,

hi,

use INTO TABLE KEYWORD which will take less time when compared with normal SELECT st and also check whether in where condition that any select options are used or not. if used then give appropriate conditional operator

for exx:

UDATE IN (ZDATE-LOW, ZDATE-HIGH ). instead of between as it is a select option parameter.

hi ,

time exceeds because there is large data present in the cdhdr table, i think its cluster table. use function module to reset the runtime it helps u.

CALL FUNCTION 'PROGRESS_INDICATOR'

EXPORTING

I_TEXT = ' Fetching Info records'.

it resets the runtime to initial value.

try this it helps u.

how to use INTO TABLE in select stmt , actually i have many fields in internal table.
