Currency field format problem

Hi ,

The requirement is to pass a FORMATTED currency value to the SAP Script from a print program.

We tried using the BAPI, BAPI_Currency_Conv_To_External , but this works fine only if a write statement is used. Internally if the exporting parameter obtained from this BAPI is passed to a character the formatting is not proper. How could this formatted currency be passed to the SAP script.

Hi Prabaharan,

theoretically, if you use a WRITE statement to format a currency field into a string field, this should be no problem for the SAP Script. <b>But</b> you must pass the <b>string</b> parameter to the form, not the currency field.

Write statement and string functions worked correctly.
