Convert to Excel

Hi,

I have a text file . I have to convert the Text file to Excel file through program . But the Text file fields and length varries. but , the separator is always same. but how many fields we can not predict. So, How we have to download it to an Internal Table and how we have to exprot it to a Excel . Is there any code to runtimly create internal table and fields and export it to excel.

HI,

use FM GUI_UPLOAD

it will fetch data to itab

then use FM WS_EXCEL

it will download to excel.

Hi Vivek,

It is working fine. But the Problem it is coming into one column. We want it into columns . How to do it ?

Is there any FM which does like this ?

use GUI_UPLOAD for uploading the text file then use GUI_DOWNLOAD with filename .xls . And pass WRITE_FIELD_SEPARATOR = 'X' in GUI_DOWNLOAD.

Hi,

use the FM EXCEL_OLE_STANDARD_DAT.

It will convert data to excel format.
