MB_MIGO_BADI Implementation

Hi,

I am supposed to implement MB_MIGO_BADI and add certain tabs to MIGO transaction, thr which some data will be pulled to z tables.

Can nebody give me some checklist thr which I'll need to go before starting BADI Implementation.

What procedure should I follow ?

A comprehensive documentation of the BADI with example code exists in SAP. Go to SE18, display the badi, and click 'documentation'. This will be a good place to start.

Yup, I know that there is documentation and example class as well. I have gone thr. both.

What I want to know is what is the exact procedure to implement BADI. ?

I can move ahead by seeing the example code given but what if the BADI does not provide the example implementation class ?

On activating the BADI I will be getting empty implementations. Now assuming that there is no sample implementation, how one can proceed ?

How would I know what functions should be called to update the data, what interface I should design etc.

e.g. sample implemetation calls MIGO_BADI_EXAMPLE_UPDATE_HEAD to update the header and has got 6 attributes some of table types etc.

I can know this because I am having a sample code. Is it that every BADI is having a sample class attached with it ?

Just wanted some steps how to go about BADI implementation.

Hi nitin,

Follow this below steps to get a idea to where exactly u want to write the code :

Detailed Process: Create the implementation for the standard badi (mb_migo_badi) .

Step 1. Go to transaction se19.

Step 2. Give the standard badi name ( MB_MIGO_BADI ) in classic badi.

Step 3. Press create implementation , give the new implementation name and enter.

Step 4. Give short description, press save and enter, it will ask for select or create

Enhancement implementation , select the existing one or press create for new

Enhancement implementation , give name and short description and enter.

Step 5.) select the created enhancement implementation and enter.

Step 6.) Activate the implementation .

Step 7.) In the interface tab - choose the method to write the code according to ur requirement.

Step 8.) activate both method and implementation.

now this code triggers when u run the MIGO transaction
