hi friends,

Here is my query on BW,

How to debug a routine.

Pls help me if somebody has face the problem.

To debug the routines in your update rules, check off the box for Set break points in update rules for debugging

put a hard of soft breakpoint in the start routine.

then perform a dataload into your PSA.

then in 'monitor' go to details and select the appropriate package,

rightclick and select "simulate update'.

You will get a popup. There you select 'debugging update rules'.

proceed and you will get to your breakpoint.
