HI,

i want to make name field OBLIGATORY and also search help in my screen printer. how to do this.

Hi King,

Double click on that field after keeping it on the screen

goto the attributes

in the Attributes check REQUIRED checkbox

becomes Obligatory

and there is a field to attach the search help in the attributes itself

set in properties of filed input-->required and there's a searchhelp attribute where u can set u'r search help.

Hi javed..

In the Screen Painter : Layout of the Screen

Double click on your field.

It will open the Attributes window.

Select the Tab Program

You can Find the Attribute INPUT field

From the Drop down list Select the REQUIRED value

This makes the Field Obligatory.

In the Dictoanry attributes tab you can assign the Search help.
