Can BD87 be used for reprocessing the partially posted documents?

I have an IDOC which is in status 52 and yellow indicator.

When I reprocess it, i get a message I cannot process this node type.

But similar IDOCs with red indicator, they are processed successfully.

Please let me know.

I have never run across a 52 error. But, I do know that BD87 will only re-process IDOCs with certain errors. Obviously, 52 is not one of them.

I found this in my documentation on how to change the status of the IDOC. I have never tried it before , but maybe you can try it and change the IDOC status to something that will process. Maybe try putting the IDOC in status 64 and then run it though BD87.

1. Go into transaction SE37

2. Function Module name is IDOC_STATUS_WRITE_TO_DATABASE

3. Click Test/Execute button or press F8.

4. The idoc number needs to go in the last 8 characters of the value field.

5. Double Click on IDOC_STATUS

6. Again put the idoc number in the last 8 characters of the value field.

7. Under the ST field, put in either 68 for inbound idocs for 31 for outbound idocs

8. Click the GREEN ARROW to back out one screen.

9. Click Execute or press F8.
