regarding function module FI_DOCUMENT_ARCH_READ_SINGLE....urgent plz reply

Hi,

I have problem with function module FI_DOCUMENT_ARCH_READ_SINGLE .

the function module FI_DOCUMENT_ARCH_READ_SINGLE is available in 4.7 but is not available in ECC 6.0.I have to import a progam from 4.7 to ECC 6.0.

with uses this function module .

plz find a solution for me.

will this function module READ_DOCUMENT_HEADER be able to replace the function module FI_DOCUMENT_ARCH_READ_SINGLE ,or else wat is the solution.

plz reply.

Hi,

Check the function group FAR1, if there is any funcntion module will be of use.

Try using

FI_DOCUMENT_ARCH_READ_PACKAGE.

Hi,

To my knowledge the FM "FI_DOCUMENT_ARCH_READ_SINGLE" in 4.7 shud be replaced by another FM in ECC6, with some other name.

My suggetsion is to Search in SE37 with "FIDOCUMENTREAD*".

Or in the worst case u need to copy the FM (i.e Function Group) of 4.7 in 6.0 .

I can say what i suggested is the diplomatic solution.
