I have a push button in the screen. I want users of a particular role to be given access to click on the button and do the processing. When a user in a different role clicks on the button, message should be given that he is not authorized.

I have created 2 roles with the required users. I have created an Authorization Object with ACTVT field.I have created a profile assigning the Authorization Object. Now how do i relate this Profile to a Role in SU21. I just cant find the way to link all these things.

Pls help me.

I went into SU21 and under 'maintain Authorization Data' manually selected my Auth Object and assigned values to the fields.

But when i run the Transaction, i get sy-subrc as 12, which means 'Specified object not maintained in the user master record'. Now what do i do ??

I have solved it the same way as described...

The issue is Closed.
