Getting the field name dynamically?

Hi experts ,

I want know how to get the field name in a field symbol.I have a requirement wherein i get the table name dynamically in a fieldsymbol and select from the table and put it into a field symbol.

I have to validate if the fieldname in the fieldsymbol is equal to 'VBELN' . For example i have to check if the field with name VBELN is ther in the field symbol <fs_itab> where i get the structure of <fs_itab> dynamically.

Is ther any way to get the name of the fieldname in a field symbol?

Hi Ashwin,

Use the function module 'GET_COMPONENT_LIST' with a little bit of logic to get the field name.
