In alv report ,i want to hide options like ascending,descending,sum,totals in ALV F.M grid-display.how it is possible.

set a pf status..while creating new pf-status..remove other function tool on application toolbar of alv

There is one parameter called IT_EXCLUDING when you call the function module. REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY. You have to fill them with the function codes that are not needed to be displayed. In short this will be a Table of inactive function codes. If this parameter is empty, everything is shown... suppose the table contains only &OUP and &ODN values and is passed to the FM, then the sort in ascending and descneding order buttons are not shown and are hidden.

some common function codes in alv grid:

&OUP --> Sort in ascending Order

&ODN ---> Sort in descending Order

&ILT --> Set Filter

&UMC ---> Totals

&SUM ---> Sub-totals
