regarding ALV

hi,

i have written fallowing code to add a field to my fieldcat.

there are already 361 fields in my catalog

after displaying the output in alv grid when i export this to excel

my output in excel is as fallows:

Order seq. no. Seq. no.

seqno is the field which i added so it is displayed twice and i think that this field is already there in my catalog.

pls solve this problem]

it is very urgent.

Hi,

Check the whether the same field name in the field catalog twice? if yes remove one of them.

Plz check ur catalog i think u specified twice for one field. or similar name it might be.

Check if your field catalog has two seq no.. there is no way that the report does it automatically..

thank u for ur immediate response.

ya there is a seqno twice in my fieldcat

but the it is displayed in column set list

so i must change the layout inorder to get it to the column.

is there any possibility for using two layouts in same program.

pls help

If you have two "seq no" fields in your catalog and you want to display both of them in the output, use different text to differentiate and also pass different reference table name and reference field in the field catalog. Then you will be able to see different fields in the output. for example

Begin of itab occurs 0,

field1 like...

field2 like...

end of itab.

In catalogue

Seq no text1 will have Ref Tabname = ITAB & Ref Fieldname = Field1

Seq no text2 will have Ref Tabname = ITAB & Ref Fieldname = Field2

Try this out,,,
