BDC for XD01

Hi,

I have to do BDC for XD01 customer master. Basing on the template provided by functional consultant I started recording but so many fields r missing when i was recording for personal data like telephone fax mobile ext nos r missing. when I was entering data to check from TC XD01 those fields r there. what should i do as technical names are different. Awaiting for a reply. Thanks in advance.

hi Ram,

either you do a full recording (i. e. with all data which will be necessary)

or if you have a frame now, go to transaction XK01 and press F1-F9 on all fields which are missign from your recording. On the bottom of the pop up window there are information for field names in batch input. You have to add this to your program accordingly.

Hi Eric,

I have seen the technical names of my recording screens as well as the std XD01 screens. they r different the table name and field name also. In std XD01 at personnel data v have the fields like name, title ,dob, gender, tele,fax,mobile etc. where as when i went from recording in same screen no some of fields r not available. is there any config problem. suggest me.

it is not config. some transactions work differently in background and in foreground (i. e. in batch input and not batch input), you have to live with that.

Hi Eric,

should i keep the screen fields of std XD01 for the fields which r not in the recording mode suggest me. will it work like that because the std screen fields & tables r different where as the common fields from recording & std r different.

I explained it already: press F1 and F9 and look for the name in the popup! (see my post above). That is the name you'll need.

Hi ,

It is always better to go for LSMW stadard/Batch input menthod. And you can map what ever the fields given by functional consultant.

Use following methos:

Object 0050 Customer master

Method 0000

Program Name RFBIDE00

Program Type B Batch Input

Hi,

There is a checkbox on the first screen "Use central address management", pls try ticking this box. Additional fields would then show up in SHDB recording for XK01 or XD01.

I think the field is USE_ZAV
