    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Mahi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;you can call Java code from ABAP using the Java Connector - it is bidirectional.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you want to talk directly to the database you can use the db multiconnect functionality and then use native SQL in your ABAP code.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Check OSS note 323151 for details.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Cheers&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Graham&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
