Blocking fields of IDOC data segment

Hi,

I have an ALE scenario in which IDOC is created and sent whenever PO is created. There are 2 fields in one of the data segment which are SPRAS_ISO and IFNNR. In IDOC always the values for IFNNR is 0000000000 and SPRAS_ISO is EN. System is assigning the values by its own but I dont want to send those values in IDOC.

Is there any way to block those 2 fields from sending in data segment of IDOC ?? I dont want to see those fields in data segment (WE02)

Note : The scenario is working fine in 4.6c and due to upgrade to Ecc 5..I got this problem. The message type is also Z...

Dear Saily ,

u can block the segment fileds bycustomer distribution model or thrp the idoc generation report or function module.

if it's a standard process code pls have a look into the std function module and we can write a code in customer function moduel.

If possible can u give me more details on tat..I haven't worked much on IDOCs..Its a standard process so where shud i write code ?...Pls send me some sample code if u have..

Hi Aarun,

Its a standard property of IDoc to populate the unassigned fields with default values depending upon the data type.

For NUMC it will be Zeros and CHAR it will be spaces.

I think you would be using the FM IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDERS, so within the FM there are couple of User exits where you can try to change the values in the fields.

Enhancement MM06E001.

But the default values for the field will be populated depending upon the Data type.

There is a concept called segment filtering which you can do in transction BD56.

Please check if there is anything for filtering fields in segment. WIll also let you know if i find any.

Use tcode BD52 or BD64 to filter the data

Hi,

You can also you BD55 to write any conversion routine for the IDoc fields.

But BD64 is distribution model, where you can filter the generation of IDoc depending upon the field value but you cannot restrict the fields.

nothing sailt it's like a function module to create the idoc.....

like for order process IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDERS this is the function module linked to the process codes.

with in this function module customer function is available this is linked to user exit. we have to write the code in user exit.

if u double click the below customer function its linked to user exit.

docu: customer exit - control record (001)

CALL CUSTOMER-FUNCTION '001'

EXPORTING

control_record_out = control_record_out

dekko = ekko

dobject = object

IMPORTING

control_record_out = control_record_out

TABLES

dxekpo = xekpo

dxeket = xeket.

Hi,

Please use enhancement MM06E001 and CALL CUSTOMER-FUNCTION '002' to change the IDoc data.

CALL CUSTOMER-FUNCTION '001' you can modify only the control records.

I wrote the code in include of the function module EXIT_SAPLEINM_011 which is called in CALL CUSTOMER-FUNCTION '011' and user exit is MM06E001

Problem is solved.
