Hi,

I am new to asset accounting and I am looking to find the fields in SAP tables for the following descriptions. If anybody has any idea please let me know the tables and the fields that will be suitable.

Asset Number

Asset Description

Asset Location Identifier

Purchase Price / Depreciable Basis

Acquisition Date)

Check the tables starting with AN* in se11

Most of the Asset related are AN* with 4 letters.

Thx for all. But, i have the vast list of all the tables. But, I am looking for specific Tables and the fields in it which are suitable for above requirement..

Hi,

To find the table names inwhich these fields are being used. Go for below mentioned procedure:

Go to Tcode - SE84.

Now expend the node ABAP Dictionary.

Now expend the node FIELDS.

Now double click on TABLE FIELDS.

On the right hand side you will have one window. Here provide the short description & execute.

It will display all the table names & fields.
