appending fields to the structure

Hi can any one tell me

How to appened the ztable fields to the existing structure.

If possible send me the step by step procedure?

Hii

1) Modifing the structure already appended to a DB table .

Open the DB table in change mode, double click on the structure name and bring it to the change mode for modification , and here add the needed fields in the structure , save and activate it . The new structure will then be reflected in your table .

2) creating a structure and appending it to the DB table !

go to Txn SE11 -> select the radio button data type -> give a name to it and select the create tab -> choose structure ->give the component name and component type save and activate !

again go to SE11 -> give the table name -> choose the change button -> u'll reach the table fields screen -> here you have option for APPEND Structure -> append the structure to your main table .. thats it ...

hi Hitesh,

I created one ztable and i have the existing structure ...

now i want to append the ztable into that existing structure?

Do the follwoing thing steps.

Once the Append structure ZAS950 is available with you.

Go to the table - S999 and select the option to create append structure.

Now the system will propose a name her .. ZAS999.. Click Ok.

enter some description here, say test....

IMPORTNANT POINTS to notice

In the component option type

.INCLUDE

and in the Component type, type the

already created Append structure name (i.e., ZAS950).

Click Save and then Activate the table.

Hi,

Try the option Append Strucutre.

Goto Se11-> Open your strcutre.

Use the menu option Goto->Append strcutre.

There give Ztable and see if thishelps.

Make sure your strcture's enhancement category is "Can be Enhanced".

Menu option Environment->Enhancement category gives you this in SE11.

hi,

if u want to append to sap table then u use append structure.give the name of append structure with zz e.g zzappend. check if any ci include is there in the table if there is a ci include then use this include append additional fields in the table.
