Problem with Vendor master upload

Hello Everyone,

I am getting some problems with vendor master upload in which call transaction program is used.The fields which are mandatory for xk01 transaction, all fields are provided in the test file. But i am getting errors in bdcmsgcoll saying that it require some other fields also. In program code no where mentioned these fields has to be the there in input file. I wondered whether its the problem with the constraints in the table or problem with the code or problem with the xk01 screens itself. Becoz i tried entering manually the data thru xk01 which asked me for the mandatory fields only but not the fields which bdcmsgcoll error message is asking for.

Anyway when i provide those fields in the test file the records are inserted successfully. But i want to know why the cal transaction is giving errors if it is unable to find some fields in the test file.

Hi,

Check this testing this scenario.

Use transaction SHDB~~> select your recording~~> select button program--> give program name Ztest or something ~~> choose transfer from recording~~> create the program and activate

Run this program in the screen you can have option to run the report using call transaction and choose the mode A and run.

I know where the errors are coming. But i wonder why those errors are coming as they are not mandatory fields. In the errors it mentioned that it requires some fields but those fields are not mandatory. I want to know its becoz of the constraints in the table or problem with the code or xk01 screens.
