a nontechnical question

hello friends,

when i was about to make changes to the program in development environ ment,

when i tried to change the mode of the progrma from display mode to change mode,

a popup came up saying please select a request, ofcourse there were many already existing requests, i need to create a new request, i think it is ecc 5 version

now do i solve this problem.

can some one help.

Hey Sarita,

Hit on the new icon in the bittom of the screen where the TR pops up and u can create a new transport.

Hi Saritha,

Click the third ICON from the left (F8 function key) and you will get a prompt for creating a new request.

Well Sarika,

That depends, If the program you are changing is already a part of any previous request (whcih means somebdy has already changed it) then you can modify the program within the same request number which you will get once you click on F4.

Otherwise, if you are not able to find the any previous request for that program, you can always create a new request by clicking on the create button, enter a small description for the changes you are going to make and save it. Any further changes will be recorded in that transport request number. You can later transport the changes by releasing the request in SE09/SE10.
