Hi

Welcome to SDN forum.

in SAP we do all developments of different objects in DEVELOPMENT client and transport them to Quality and Production Servers.

So to move the all devlopments to other servers we use the mechanism of Transport management

in this when we create an object we assign a dev class/package and create a transport request for that object. Like this we assign/create transport requests for all the transportable objects

and we release them once we need them to transport to other clients

and transport them using STMS

Basis people will do import of them using STMS

Reward points for useful Answers

Regards

Anji

request is assigned to an object to move the object from one client to another client. say u need to move object from development to quality to production. u need to assign the object to a request and move it.

if u dont want to transport then u need to save the object in $tmp class so that it wont ask for the request. other then $tmp, it will ask for a request creation...

Reward Points...
