When dealing with sap scripts.

I use the function module OPEN_FORM

If I dont pass the parameter "options".... what will be the default printer device

where is it taking the default device from???

I need help... Urgent

goto se37 give open_form n goto fm documentation.

say ur creating an order, the default printer is assigned to the order while creation. Now, when u use the script to print something using ur program, this default printer is taken into consideration and the same is printed.

Hi..

It will take the DEFAULT PRINTER from USER MASTER RECORD.

Tcode SU01.

System menu -> user profile -> own data

and Select the Defaults Tab.

Here you can find the default printer name which is taken by OPEN_FORM

Hi,

Print Options

Different variants can be defined for the output via the parameter Options. The structure is described in table ITCPO. Some of the fields contained in this structure can be changed by the user via the print dialog.

Invalid options

Invalid parameter values were passed in table ITCPO for the print options.

Possible errors:

An output device which does not exist was specified in field TDDEST.

Invalid characters were used for the page selection in field TDPAGESLCT

If u still have doubt, please check with tcode SM37 with the FM OPEN_FORM.

But if I havent given any device name, from where is the program taking the output printing device name????

DATA : BEGIN OF OPTIONS.

INCLUDE STRUCTURE ITCPO.

DATA : END OF OPTIONS.

OPTIONS-TDDEST = P_TDDEST.

PARAMETERS : P_TDDEST LIKE TSP03-PADEST.
