regarding reports

I have a report, when I run this report, I want tigger another program to update the table of that report. Is it possible , if so please post the reply as early as possible..

What table do you want to update, an internal table, or database table. What exactly is your requirement.

Yes this is possible but why can't you update the table within the same report?

I asume, you have a standard program and want to create follow-on document (or input data from follow-on document).

So search user-exit in first program (as late as possible, e.g. linked to save), insert some line of coding:

- Create change pointer to have a link to table keys (FM CHANGE_POINTERS_CREATE_DIRECT + customizing of change pointers, no change documents needed)

- Create event (FM BP_EVENT_RAISE, defined in SM62)

- Plan your second report as job, starting on event (and don't forget to tick 'periodically')
