ALV Grid Fields Exclusion

Hi ,

In my final internal table i have 55 fields but my requirement is that only 20 fields will get display and rest of the fields will be selected by user from change layout button.How to fulfill this please send me detail step..

Hi Prince,

Execute Your Report then save your layout containg 10-15 fields as per your requirement starting with prefix '\z' then use the function module "REUSE_ALV_VARIANT_EXISTENCE" and look in the internal table of type gsvarinat and get your created variant name and pass this in the function module "REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY" parameter is_variant = "your itab name"..

Set the NO_OUT parameter in the field catalog for the fields you do not want to appear initially to 'X'. Only those fields which have NO_OUT as space will appear initially on the output.
