Long Initialization

Hi,

this might not be the right forum, but I couldn't find a better one ...

When I log on to a certain customer's system, it takes a long time (around 30 seconds) until I get to the initial SAP screen. The same happens when I open a new (blank) session and also when I mistype the command to open a new transaction in a new session (e.g. /ova003 instead of /ova03)

I does NOT happen when I enter /n or when I start a new transaction in a new session correctly (e.g. /ova03)

This happens only at one customer's site (on all 3 systems), all other systems response times are perfectly normal, so it can't really be a GUI problem. Customer's site is running 4.6C.

So, it's not a drama, but I'm wondering what' going on there, what it is doing and if there is any chance to find out.

Hi,

This could be some thing related to the network connectivity to the particular site.

Check with the network people, probably they can analyse the traffic and determine the root cause
