abap code for net book value

I am trying to show the total net book value of assets from AA system for a specific set of GL accounts for any period the user queries by selection.

Does anyone know which tables to get this value or the code to get the value.

Use tables

ANLH		Main asset number
 ANLA		Asset Master Record Segment
  ANLT		Asset Texts
   ANLB		Depreciation terms
    ANLC	Asset Value Fields

I have tried those but they seem to only give the book value as of date, but not the date selected by the user, for eg: a previous date.

ANLC has the year in the key. If you want a more detailed time, use ANLP Table Asset Periodic Values it has the period in the key.
