Hi Neelu,

I don't think there is any Xn for inventory load the way you understand it.

Inventroy gets build up in SAP by some materila movements. Like material receive ( movement type 101 , 103 etc ) , reversal ( 102 will decrease ) , 502 503 ( I think for material issue ).

And these material movements happen at the time material document creation e.g by transaction MIGO.

or BAPI Good Movt Create ( not exactly sure about the name ).

Now it seems you are uploading the inventory data from a legacy system. In that case your functional consultant should advise you as how have they planned to upload the data. Do they want these documents to be crated ??

you should consult any Materials Module consultant for this .

Thanks,

Ram

Hi Neelu,

If you are talking about loading initial inventory into SAP during conversions, then you can use LSMW with business object BUS2017, Method CREATEFROMDATA. It uses the message type MBGMCR and idoc type MBGMCR02.

As pointed out in the previous response, you still need inputs from your MM consultants about the movement type they want you to do, whether it will go into unrestricted stock or quality stock etc..

Alternatively you can also use program RM07MMBL. In LSMW, it will be object 0110 and method 0000.

Hope this helps,

Srinivas
