you cannot update Reversal date with any of these BAPI's to my knowledge. If you check the standard program used i.e FBS1 table TSTOR ( not sure if the table name is correct please check the standard program and field updated is not the same as the reversal date name i do not have access to the system presently) is updated using a simple FM: UPDATE_TSTOR(TABLE NAME) where the field is updated. Once the document gets reversed on the reversal date when u run the standard report or even FB08 it is deleted from the table. SO i would suggest to create the document with reversal reason using any standard bapi and just to update the above table with the FM if BDC is not an option.

Cause this is the unique functionality of FBS1.

Hi All,

Requirement

We have a requirement to update the Reversal Date of FBS1 transaction.

Query

We need a BAPI which will update the Reversal Date (BKPF- STODT) - Planned Date for the Reverse Posting.

We have found several BAPI’s but none of them has an IMPORT parameter “Planned Date for Reverse Posting – STODT”. Hence we can’t update this field.

BAPI_ACC_GL_POSTING_REV_POST

BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_REV_POST

SAP Note 649957 is already implemented.

Any pointers would be helpful.

Thanks,

Best regards,

Prashant
