error in inbound idoc.

hi all,

i had an error in inbound side,it is showing status code of 51.the error it is showing is application for material item 10 is could not be identified.actually i have to run this one in background.i.e it should not trigger imm.it is should be posted at particular time.how to do that,plz help me out.

Hi Krishna,

You can get the function exit in the IDOC before posting happens. In the fucntion exit you can write WAIT up to 5 secs according to your requirement.

Hi krishna,

Just switch off the "immediate processing" indicator in your partner profile and schedule a job to process the incoming Idocs.

hi john,

i had selected the background radio button in partner profiles and i scheduling the job in sm36 by running the program rbdapp01 and in that i'm passing message type partner function and number as variants.is that right?.plz confirm it.and i had scheduled that every day in sm36 as per my client requirement.

we are using the message type orders and idoctype is orders05.

Hi Krishna,

First we have to find out if the error comes from processing in the application or from one of the checks performed before the application is called.

Go to function module IDOC_INPUT_OPDERS and put a breakpoint on "PERFORM edi_mode_to_mem.". Then reprocess the Idoc and when the program stops at your breakpoint set INPUT_METHOD to 'A'. In this way your order will be processed online (using BDC and you can find the error).

If the program doesn't stop at your breakpoint the error comes from one of the checks before.

But please try this first and come back if this doesn't solve your problem.

i rectified the error which got earlier now i'm getting new error 'frieght redetermined'.and plz help how to reprocess the idoc.can u give me ur personal mail address.thank u
