You should better use direct input program with LSMW for materials. The name of the program is RMDATIND. Sorry, do not remember exactly direct input object number.

The views, and their placement in the views pop-up, vary depending on which views exist for the material.

When performing MM02, I alwayus select the basic view for material, then click on Goto(1) or Goto(2) and place the mouse pointer over the view you wish to use (MRP 1 for example). Press F1 and the function for the view will be displayed (It's SP08 for MRP 1). Enter that code in the transaction window and you will be taken to the view.

Hope this helps.

Moss,

This is really a gud explanation.

I tried working on the logic you provided.

I recorded as suggested by you, but when I run the

session, the basic view is not selected (I passed the value "X" for view selection in my program). What might be the problem.

Regards,

Usha
