and use them in sap system

there is ws function for set file attributes , but i didnt see any function for getting the attributes

Check out the class <b>CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES</b>, you may find there.

i am working with version 46c.

the fm doesnt exist.

Hello,

you can use Function to know attributs of files in SAP server. It's little hard, but that's work.

data : itab_list_file type standard table of zfi_exp1
                      with non-unique key ztype zname
                      with header line.
data : begin of struct_dir ,
         dir(75)    type c,            " Directory
         file(75)   type c,            " File
         errno(3)   type c,            " Error number
         errmsg(40) type c,            " Error message
       end of struct_dir.

* Start read directory
  call 'C_DIR_READ_START' id 'DIR'    field struct_dir-dir
                          id 'FILE'   field struct_dir-file
                          id 'ERRNO'  field struct_dir-errno
                          id 'ERRMSG' field struct_dir-errmsg.

*   Read next line.
    call 'C_DIR_READ_NEXT'
      id 'TYPE'   field itab_list_file-ztype
      id 'NAME'   field itab_list_file-zname
      id 'LEN'    field itab_list_file-zlen
      id 'OWNER'  field itab_list_file-zowner
      id 'MTIME'  field itab_list_file-zmtime
      id 'MODE'   field itab_list_file-zmode
      id 'ERRNO'  field itab_list_file-zerrno
      id 'ERRMSG' field itab_list_file-zerrmsg.

look at function group <b>EPSF</b>

and fm EPS_GET_FILE_ATTRIBUTES
