changing standard module pool screen label

Hi ABAPers,

I want to change the standard module pool screen label. (eg. in MM01 the text 'MATERIAL' to 'MATERIAL NUMBER').

Is it possible? if it is possible how can i do that. pls explain me.

Hi Guna

I think you can do it thru the field exit. Go to tcode CMOD and type in the command PRFB in the command. There you say create new exit and give the data element of the field you want to change and change the texts for that file.

Else one more option is to open the data element in SE11 and go to transaltion to 'EN' and change the texts for short, medium or long to whatever as required.
