tr for report

hi guru's ,

how can we create transaction for a report. i tried like this i went system--->status. it will display the program name and screen no. i gone through tr se93 and i put program name(sapl38e) and screen no 500. but it is saying that transaction having inconsties.explaine in brief how can we create transaction for report?

Go to transaction SE93. Write the transaction name u want and click on create. Give the program name and the transaction text on the screen that appears and give the screen number as 1000(Used generally) and then ure transaction will be created. The program which u r using is a standard SAP report so u cannot assign any other transaction name to it, what u can do is copy the program and then u can assign a transaction name to it.

we report name we have to put is it sapl#### or our report name?

hi,

go to se93.provide the trcode u want to create.-> click on 'create'.

~~> write the short text -~~

> select 2nd option( program and selection screen /report transaction).--

> next screen give the program name. donot change the screen number for report transaction.then save it.

The report name should be your own report name that starts with either 'Y' or 'Z'. Not the SAP standard ones.

1)AFTER YOU CREAT A PRGRAM , FOR THAT PROGRAM BY DEFAULT SCREEN NUMBER IS '1000'.

2)AFTER THAT GO TO SE93 TRANSACTION AND

3)CREAT YOUR OWN TRANSACTION CODE FOR THAT PRGRAM

4)CLICK ON CREAT BUTTON

5)IT WILL ASK YOU TO ENTER DISCRIPTION OF THAT PROGRAM

6)AFTER THAT IN NEXT SCREEN YOU ENTER PROGRAM NAME AND SCREEN NUMBER AS 1000

7)AND SAVE IT

8)AND BACK

THATS ALL

hey surendra,

There is no need of going anywhere. Just open the report and go to OBJECT LIST in the menu bar. A window will open on the left side. there go and right click on the program name and select CREATE-->Transaction.. And give the name of transaction. You will have to specify whether it is meant for module pool or simple report or anything else.
