hi

good

Short for virtual private network, a network that is constructed by using public wires to connect nodes. For example, there are a number of systems that enable you to create networks using the Internet as the medium for transporting data. These systems use encryption and other security mechanisms to ensure that only authorized users can access the network and that the data cannot be intercepted.

thanks

Mrutyun^

As far as I know, SAP only provides support when running SBO trough Terminal Server or Citrix. VPN (Virtual Private Network) is not endorsed by SAP.

But, with a good bandwith, I can run SBO (2004 and 2005) without problems. But, only running for test, because, again, SAP does not provides support when running with VPN.

Rewards point if helpful

Regards....

ABhay.

In that software we should give authetication which will be verified by VPN server which in turn will connect to SAP/other server.

VPN uid and SAP uids are different.

VPN is generally used for secure private networking.0

Hope this will help

Regards
