Batch input

Hi friends,

I want to fill the required fields via batch input? Data will come from excel file? Do I need to get the excel file's data into an internal table firstly?

All in all how can I do that?

Hi,

Yes you will have to take the data into Internal Table through Excel.

Then you have to arrange it, use FM ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE.

Then after collectiong it record BDC and process it.

What is recording bdc?

What will it do and how I will use it?

I am new at batch input. I do not know anything else than what it does do..I know just that it fills the fields with values but how?

Step by step please.
